Cleaner Ductwork Starts With a Defined Scope

Dust, construction debris, pet hair, and other settled material can accumulate inside an air-distribution system. Vanguard evaluates the system configuration, duct materials, access, number of supply and return openings, and visible conditions before work begins. Our standard residential service is designed for routine duct cleaning—not mold remediation or internal HVAC mechanical repair.

What Standard Air Duct Cleaning Includes

• Eligible supply and return ductwork served by the quoted HVAC system
• Accessible supply registers and return grilles
• RamAir source-removal cleaning workflow
• Eligible SaniJet treatment when product labeling, material compatibility, and system condition allow
• Service documentation and notification of visible conditions requiring separate attention

Not included: internal air-handler cabinets, blower assemblies, coils, repairs, duct replacement, mold remediation, inaccessible components, and restoration work unless separately authorized.

Straightforward Residential Pricing

Introductory service begins at $399 for one HVAC system with up to 10 total supply and return openings. The introductory scope applies to standard-access residential systems with routine dust and debris conditions. Final pricing is based on the verified opening count, number of HVAC systems, access, and system condition.

Openings above 30 are $35 each. A second HVAC system is $250; each third or additional system is $225. Detailed metal return-frame cleaning and dryer vent cleaning are available as add-ons.

Flex Duct, Air Handlers & Duct Leakage

Flex duct requires condition-specific judgment. It can be damaged by aggressive agitation or improper access. We inspect its condition and use suitable methods; we do not cut prohibited service openings or proceed where cleaning could cause damage.

Internal air-handler, blower, and coil cleaning is coordinated through an approved HVAC subcontractor when needed. Duct-leakage concerns may qualify for separately quoted AeroSeal service.

Pair Duct Cleaning With Dryer Vent Service

Add standard dryer vent cleaning for $129 when completed during the same appointment, or schedule standalone dryer vent cleaning for $179. Long, complex, and roof-termination runs start at $225.

No. Internal air-handler, blower, and coil cleaning requires separate HVAC qualification and pricing.

Is SaniJet treatment included?

Eligible treatment is included when product labeling, duct material, system condition, and the approved service procedure allow its use. It is not represented as mold remediation.

How is the opening count determined?

Each supply and return opening served by the system is counted. The final count is confirmed before work begins.

Do you clean flex duct?

We inspect flex duct first. Service depends on its condition, accessibility, and whether it can be cleaned without unacceptable risk of damage.
